My last weeks of LO's!

I'm meeting with my District Manager today to discuss my return to work. In all honestly, I am NOT looking forward to it at all. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my job.... but meeting with my DM means me returning to work sometime soon and having to part from my little Peanut! The farther away I drive from him, the sadder I get and I work 30 minutes away! It is a bitter sweet moment. Also, once I go back to work, my 2-3 projects a day will become 2-3 projects a week. I am definitely trying to take advantage of this time!

This first layout was inspired by Elle Studio's Sketch Challenge. To me, this was a true challenge because it asks you to use 6 images. I don't mind it, but finding images for the sketch below was tough. I ended up making a few changes to the photo requirements.

I kept this very simple because I feel that the pictures stand out on its own. There are a lot going on in the pictures and I didn't want to take away from that. I left the journaling section blank on purpose. My family is out on a vacation to the Philippines. While they are on vacation, I am scrapbooking the event for them! What can I say, I am leaving vicariously! When they get back, I will get my mom to give me ideas for the journaling section.

The next LO is for another Lasting Memories Challenge. Sketch with a Twist requires to follow their featured sketch, but the twist is to make sure there are buttons!

This was a picture of my Husband and I from a few years ago. During the summer, we always go on random adventures. This summer, our random adventure is getting to know our cutie patootie 3 month old!

He makes the funniest faces!! I will guarantee this will definitely land on a LO soon! :)

Thanks for stopping by! Please make sure to follow me if you like what you see!

  3. Hey Marie! Sorry, I had pc probs, so just getting to comment now! Both your LO's are great and I love how you allowed the photo's to stand on their own as well. Your little one is ADORABLE!! Great LO's and thanks for sharing and joining us at Lasting Memories.

Good luck returning to work. It's tough. I have 2 kid's as well who are now (almost) 11 and 15 and I tried to go back when Andrew (15 yr old) was little and I couldn't do it. Been doing daycare ever since!
