I Washi You a Happy Birthday!

My blog has been on a mini hiatus! Being a mom and working full time leaves me with little time to do something if I choose to sleep, and lately, sleep has been winning over crafting. When a birthday comes rolling along, I get motivated to do cards. My father-in-law's birthday is coming up, so I came up with this fun guy card!

Supplies:
DCWV's The Guy Stack
David Tutera's Birthday Embellisments

To add some extra cards in my "Manly Birthday" category, I made these guys!

These were all quick, simple cards using left over cardstock, "washi" tape from Target's office supply aisle, stamps, and embellishments.

Chevron and Green

I stopped by The Twinery's Blog and saw that they were doing a Chevron and Green challenge using their baker's twine! I had to hop on board with this awesome challenge!

I simple cut strips of paper and created my own chevron using Jillibean's Mustard Soup Stack.
I embellished my tag using Twinery's Peapod Twine!

I also used May Arts' faux burlap ribbon and American Craft Thickers!
