At Lasting Memories' Layout Challenges, we are currently doing a photo inspiration challenge

We are given the following image as an inspiration for a layout!

The LO's color and Holiday theme inspired me to make an LO for my lil guy! He posed for me in photographs that we were going to use for Christmas Cards! Isn't he such a cutie!

Snowflakes!!!!

Snowflakes everywhere!!! On my layout, that is! This week at Lasting Memories, the challenge is to create a Winter Wonderland layout with Snowflakes!!! Here is my take on the challenge!

I used DCWV paper and snowflake embellishments!

Inspirational Photo

This week at Lasting Memories' the challenge is to make an LO inspired by one of the 3 photos given. I chose this winter wonderland for my layout! 

Following the winter theme, I used photos from winter of 2008. I stuck the color scheme of blues, white, and grays. I put a few embellishments, but mostly used different patterned papers.

Happy 28th Anniversary!

Today marks my parents' 28th wedding anniversary!

Their wedding theme was Lavender and Silver, so I went with the colors for this diamond pop up card!

I used SEI Cardstock and Embellishments.

Hidden Secrets

This week at Lasting Memories, the challenge is to have hidden journaling. I have more hidden secrets in this layout! I used AC Cardstock and Reminisce Felt Paper.

A good friend sent Ethan these glasses and he just kept making the goofiest faces!! I wanted to scrapbook as many of the photos as I could without having to do a 2 page layout! I hid more photos, the title, and the journaling.....

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!

Every Birthday and Anniversary, my cards for my husband get more and more elaborate, it makes me worry about what I will do next!! This year for his birthday, I made him a cupcake in an exploding box! I used mostly my stash for the project and DCWV's Linen Closet Cardstock.

Happy 27th to the Love of our Lives!!!!

Seattle in Sepia

This week at Lasting Memories, the challenge is to use Sepia photos. 

My friends from Virginia came to visit, which meant it was time for me to be a tourist along with them!! I took a few photos and turned into Sepia and printed them in wallet sizes to fit the LO perfectly! I used DCWV Mod Stack and a few solid cardstock. I kept it simple with rub-ons, buttons, and flowers.

Today is my game lovin' brother's birthday!!! Here is the card I created for him!

I created a kaleidoscope card with DCWV's Generation Tech Stack! I embellished it with silver Thickers!

Recipe Time!

Here is my take Scrap Our Stash's November Recipe Challenge. I decided to go with the LO recipe!

5 embellishments: Button, Bow, Rick Rack, Flowers, and Stickers, 4 words or letters in my title: Bun in the Oven, 3 pictures, 2 pattern papers, and 1 solid paper.

I used a few photos that I took throughout my pregnancy to show how much I grew. I kept it simple and used paper from my stash, Thickers, and a couple of Embellishments.

Baptism Book

My son is my never ending scrapbook project! I take so many photos of him and have already filled up two albums! He recently had his Baptism and this was the invitation we sent out! This would be the beginning to his Baptism album!!

I will be entering this to Sketchy Thursday's 10-27-11 Challenge.

This week at Lasting Memories, it is all about who or what you cherish. If you've been following my blog for awhile, it probably doesn't come as a surprise that my LO is of my little cutie!!

This pic was taken when he was 5 days old! Lil guy was only weighing 5 lbs! Now he's almost 16!!

I've been waiting for my brother's homecoming photo to do this LO! I was about to do a completely different LO when it finally arrived! I kept it pretty simple so the photo would be the focus!

"Hi there! As most of you know, Evanna's daughter has been diagnosed with Leukemia. When Evanna emailed me last week, I just felt heartsick and wondered what could I do? So, after a lot of thought, I'm going to run "Cards For Izzy" and reach out to all our fellow blogging friends to send a card to little Izzy. All cards can be mailed to me at:

Cards do NOT have to be "Get Well", in fact, they can be absolutely ANYTHING that will put a smile on a little girl's face. If you have little ones and they want to make something, PLS add that in! The more cards, the better. I'm asking for all cards to be mailed out by October 21 and I will wait a couple weeks to be sure I get everyone's and then I will pkg everything up and send out to Evanna. Thank you all so very much - now let's make this little girl, and her family, smile."

I love using stickers, buttons, and ribbons to create dimension.

Foam squares are perfect add ons to any sticker or paper cutouts to create dimensions!
