This week's Lasting Memories challenge is "It's Cool To Be Cool"! Show off how you stay cool during the summer!!

My layout is of my favorite subject: My lil stinker! We got him a small toddler pool to play with during the summer. He saw his daddy blow it up and was getting excited. He even started splashing in the water before we were even done filling it. But, as soon we put him in the pool, he was one unhappy person.

Here is  close up of his reaction. It was just too funny!

I found these really cute embellishments. It is perfect for this LO because it looks like little droplets.

I used my favorite Thickers to add a title.

This week's challenge at Lasting Memories is all about "A Special Celebration"!! 

This LO is to celebrate Mother's Day!!! We all went to the Crab Pot to celebrate it along with my Mom, Dad, and Brother. This was my first Mother's Day so it was a special one!

If you've never been to Crab Pot, I suggest you go to one or one just like it! They throw a giant bowl of seafood and goodies on your table, you throw a bib on, and you feast away!!

Now onto my LO!

Hero Arts Stamp

I saw a fun challenge at the Hero Arts Blog! I needed to create a few cards for August, so I thought "Why Not take out my stamps!

Here is my 1st Card! A birthday card using the Zig Zac Cupcake stamp.

I stamped the frosting part of the cupcake onto pink paper. Then stamped the cupcake bottom onto brown paper twice. I scored one of the bottom stamps every 1/4" and folded it to create an accordion look. I glued this on top of the second bottom stamped paper to finish off the cupcake. I added different embellishments for sprinkles!

This second card could be used as a "Just because" or an Anniversary Card. I used Hero Arts' Old Writing Digital Stamp. I LOVE the versatility of this Digi Stamp. It can be used for any themed project!

My final card is another birthday card. I used the same technique with the Cupcake stamp, but went for a manlier look. The colors were inspired by Frosted Design's Friday Color Challenge.
