Double Take

I have been on hiatus lately due to being sick! Thanks due to weather changes and work! I am currently on a mini vacation from work, so here I am, back on track!

 This week at Lasting Memories, we want to see your take on  "DOUBLE TAKE."   What does that mean??  Use 2 of the same photo or similar photos on your layouts!!  
But to give you some quick ideas... 1.  Use 2 of the same photo, 1 big, 1 small. 2.  Use 2 photos of the same subject but taken at different angles. 3.  Use 2 of the same photo, one color, one black and white. 4.  Use 2 similar photos of a similar subject.
I went ahead and used two photos of my fave lil guy! I was inspired by DCWV's October Sketch and used the Snapshot Stack

I used images from the stack and created dimension using pop dots.

I added this fun pinwheel.

Also added alphas to compliment the image.

Neon Chic

It was so exciting to see my layout making it to the top 10 for September's DCWV Challenge.

The challenge was to take the following sketch and create something fun!

Here is my take using the Neon Chic stack! I bought this stack because I LOVE the colors. Once I got home and began to look through it, I love its versatility. It's hard for me to find scrapbook paper to use for my son, but this is perfect! 

I am loving the neon tulle like print! It brings out the edginess!

The color splatter patterns are a lot of fun.

I added my go to embellishments, ribbon, to add some texture along with some pearls.

Like always, I also through in some hidden journaling!!

Now my take on the card sketch challenge!

I used DCWV's Snack Stack! The strawberry cardstock looks absolutely delicious!!!

I added ribbon and buttons to add dimension, (my trademark) I love May Arts Net ribbon!! 

I also threw in some clever wording to compliment my cardstock.
